A Fairy's Tale ....

There was a little fairy Queen in the land of Oz,
with big black eyes and butterfly wings how happy she was !!
She liked to eat an apple and sing and dance and play,
she liked to go to dreamland each and every day !!

Sleeping was her hobby in her soft bed,
with care for her close ones always in her head !!
She dreamt about fantasies and lived in fairy land,
she liked to create magic by swinging her magic wand !!

With every passing year she would get younger,
with every dream she spun she would be stronger !!
She liked to roam and travel in her black toy car,
and she liked to cuddle and hug her fat teddy bear !!

Beauty arises envy and people speak bad,
that's the only thing that got the fairy sad !!
She looked around in hope to get some belief,
but lost in hearsay was the friend who could give relief !!

Then one day Santa came with his gigantic beard,
he looked at her and said that all of it I've heard !!
He did not show her pity but smiled and patted her head,
and said you are a fairy queen, its late so go to bed !!

He took a book of bedtime rhyme from his huge and heavy sack,
and read it in his usual way till the dawn was about to crack !!
And while the birds flew out of their nest he whispered in her ear,
you should be happy like ever before and no one should you fear !!

He gave a smirk and a wink and told her in mirth,
envy is a common thing and people get it from birth !!
You should be proud that others are envious of you,
you must be having something that the others could not accrue !!

Good old Santa picked his sack and told his reindeer's to go,
and just before he departed he gave his old ho ho ho !!
The fairy Queen waved him away with a new lesson learnt,
she knew she was a honest soul and nothing of hers were burnt !!

Next day once more she danced and played and sang out aloud,
she said i am the happiest here in this envious little crowd !!
She ate her apple and swung her wand and magic she saw and heard,
the lovely smile on the fairies face never again disappeared !!
